This policy explains how Wartens Automation Pvt Ltd ("Wartens", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use wartens.com/in, enquire about our services or enrol in training. It is published under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and is written to the standard of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

  • Website visits: IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and operating system, referring page.
  • Enquiries: name, email address, phone number, company or college, and your message.
  • Training enrolment: if you enrol in a programme, your name, contact details, educational qualifications and, where you choose to share it, your CV for placement assistance. Where fees are paid online, payments are handled by a payment provider and we do not store card or bank account details.
  • Job applications: your CV and the information you send us.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data such as passwords, health information or biometric data through this website.

3. Why we use it

  • To run and secure the website. Server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days unless needed to investigate a security incident.
  • To show you the right country site. Our server looks up the country associated with your IP address using a database stored on our own server; your IP address is not sent to anyone else for this and the result is not stored.
  • To reply to enquiries, deliver training and automation services, and issue certificates.
  • To provide placement assistance, if you ask us to, by sharing your profile with prospective employers.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form or enrol, or for legitimate uses permitted by law. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Cookies

We use two essential cookies: one remembers your region or language choice (12 months) and one records your cookie choice (6 months). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy.

Embedded videos

Some articles include YouTube videos. They load only after you allow external media in the cookie banner or click Play video. Google then receives your IP address and may set cookies; our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time under Cookie settings. See Google's privacy policy.

5. Sharing

  • Service providers who host our website and email, or process payments, under contracts that require them to protect your data;
  • Prospective employers, only with your consent, for placement assistance;
  • Other Wartens group companies (in the United Kingdom, Germany, the United Arab Emirates and the United States) where your enquiry concerns them;
  • Government authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Transfers outside India

Some of our service providers and group companies are located outside India. Where data is transferred abroad, we ensure it is protected to the same standard as in India and comply with any restrictions notified by the Government of India.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law (for example, accounting records), and then delete it.

8. Security

We follow reasonable security practices, including access controls, encrypted connections and restricted access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.

9. Your rights

You may ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or complete it, have it erased, or nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. Email info@wartens.com.

10. Grievances
