Production Linked Incentive schemes across 14 sectors attracted over ₹2.40 lakh crore of actual investment by 31 March 2026, led by solar PV modules, pharmaceuticals and automobiles.

Fast robot adoption
India installed almost 10,500 industrial robots in 2025, up 15%, sixth in the world, with installations growing 27% a year on average since 2020.

Battery storage take-off
In March 2026, 798 MWh of battery storage was operating in India and 35.8 GWh was under construction, with about 43 GWh supported by two Viability Gap Funding schemes. Every one of those sites needs SCADA and controller logic.

Rooftop solar at scale
PM Surya Ghar has passed 60 lakh households, with 17,855 MW of rooftop capacity installed, on the way to one crore homes.
